Capturing the Expert Knowledge of Nursing

Sessions will focus on the application of
nursing diagnosis and standardized nursing
language in clinical practice,
administration,information technology, research
and educational programs. Primary focus is on
identifying areas of concern to nurses, and
describing clinical nursing practice.
Conference Objectives
1. Explore with us a new direction for NANDA-I
2. Examine strategies for implementation of
NANDA-I across practice settings, including
acute care, restorative care and community
health
3. Examine innovative strategies for
implementation of NANDA-I across undergraduate
and graduate nursing education settings
4. Examine research strategies for development
and validation of NANDA-I language
5. Provide opportunities for learning the
processes for new diagnosis development
6. Provide opportunities for diagnosis revision
7. Explore areas for collaboration across all
standardized nursing languages
The deadline for abstracts/proposals is 10
September 2007.
